Leadership Development – HelpMyStudy

Leadership and Capacity Development Training – Siraha

After the success of Leadership and Capacity Development training sessions in schools of Kirtipur- Kathmandu, HMS is conducting the training sessions in 3 VDC’s of Siraha. The training is targeted towards the students of grade 8,9 and 10 and mainly of government schools.

Students need to learn leadership skills. They need to learn leadership skills in college, so that they can help their communities. But sadly, in schools today, few students learn the leadership skills they need for their future studies and jobs or to serve their communities. In most schools, the development of student leadership skills is not a part of the academic curriculum but relegated to “extra-curricular” activities i.e., it is regarded as part of students’ non-academic activities in clubs and organizations. However, for most students, learning leadership skills in schools and colleges is not easy because they need to do this in addition to their academic work. This challenge is especially difficult for students who need to work in order to pay for their education. Unlike students who are better-off, they may not have the time to participate in student groups in order to learn leadership skills. Keeping this in mind, HelpMyStudy Nepal has started this project where the students can benefit from the training sessions we provide.

The training sessions will be conducted in the following :1)Lahan 2) Bastipur 3) Chaurwa..
